ShopVista

The problem

A shopping experience connects several kinds of state: the product catalog, the customer account, the cart, and the order. The application needs those pieces to work together across the interface, API, and database.

What I built

ShopVista pairs a React frontend with a Spring Boot backend and MySQL database. Customers can browse products, manage a shopping cart, and complete checkout. The backend handles user data, inventory, and orders, while an admin panel supports product and user management.

• Build the product, cart, checkout, and account interfaces with React.
• Use Spring Boot for backend services and Spring Security for authentication and access controls.
• Store user profiles, product information, and transaction data in MySQL.
• Connect the frontend to backend APIs through Axios and manage navigation with React Router.
• Provide an admin interface for maintaining products and user data.

The result

A shopping application built from product browsing through checkout.
